Is it possible to be in two places at once? Survey says? YES! Our hearts are still way out west !  As the ice thaws, I am sure we will fully arrive in Ithaca again.                    A big hug out to our beloved friend and band member, Janet Cotraccia. Her father passed away while we were out west. After the memorial and time with her family, she flew out and did the last few gigs with us. Her presence and voice was even more angelic than usual. We had an amazing time.                            Ron has finally finished a scoring project that he has been working on for a while. We are also busy raising Noah, doing our taxes, walking the doggies, writing songs and praying for the next right step on our journey. We have some gigs coming up at Wellsville Creative Arts Center and Six On The Square...2 places we have wanted to play for a long time. Can't wait! Janet and Rich will be over later for rehearsal!         I hope all of you are happy and at peace. There is so much suffering in the world. I hope our music can somehow soothe anybody who may need comfort or support....or to shake their booty. Workin on more of those booty songs. NERFA went great...met tons of interesting and talented people, our holiday show was an absolute blast....complete with whole band co-written parody. Will have recording for next year.        We are getting things lined up for our California mini tour. Looking forward to temps above 20 and seeing some dear friends. Lining up gigs for 2013 and 2014...itching to write new songs. Everybody is healthy at the Burns/Kristy home...Noah got pretty sick a few times...so did the doggies, but don't get me started on that.             There is a bright, shiny ball in the sky in Ithaca NY...and it is January! I will take that as a good sign....oh...nevermind...there it goes. I will take that beatiful cloud as a good sign instead.   Have a wonderful 2013 everybody! It has been so much fun seeing which songs people like - you just never know till it gets out there. We debuted at #16 in August and remain in the top 20 for September. Being the oldest "new group" you will ever meet, it is so affirming to have our music touch people and connect us to them.                We are lining up some really fun gigs and we were chosen for a quad showcase at NERFA! SO happy about that! (North East Folk Alliance). Ron has a cold, I do not...our sweet little boy is healthy,happy and asleep at the moment...we have a wonderful community here in Ithaca and my heart is full. What more can I ask for?...ok...for ya'll to buy our CD....but really, not much else......ok...and to lose a few pounds, but that's IT!
